Had 2 nites of great food. That's why they call Ipoh the food haven.

Went to the newly open restaurant, Restoran Simpang Tiga which serves Indonesian food yesterday with Farrah. It is located in Greentown business area and was officially opened by our Perak Sultan, Sultan Azlan Shah. The place was packed and there we tents ourside the restaurant to cater for the crowd. Fortunately, we were a little over the breaking fast timing thus we manage to get a seat inside. The food was good and the service was tip top.

Met up with Lyana and Bazlin who came back from KL for Raya and Su Yen and we had dinner at Koh Samui, one of the best restaurant in Ipoh which serves Thai food. The food is yummylicious. We were kinda like the earliest there and the last one to leave. Again, the food was freakingly delicious. Try it to agree to what I said. We got carried away snapping pics while waiting for the food to arrive. The aroma of the dishes makes us salivate as we were all kinda hungry. After dinner, went for a lil tour around Ipoh town before we say our goodbyes.

The ups and downs of life

The human heart is so fragile that it can be broken at any time but fortunately it can heal. That is the wonder of the human heart. Sometime it takes a longer time to mend the broken pieces but at time it takes only a short moment.

Things happen at a unexpected time. Just when you think the day would go on well, things happen.

A fight in a relationship

A passing on of a love one may it be family members, friends or even a pet

An accident

Work stress

Alas, the opposite can happen at any time also. When you think that the day would be one of your worst days, things happen to change it the other way around.

The sweet smiling face of a little child

A colourful rainbow across the sky

A surprise gift

The radiant beauty of colourful flowers

Beautiful sunshine

So when you think you are having a bad day, look for all the signs that will brightens up your day.

SMILE ALWAYS

A weekend gateway in Cameron

Went up to Cameron for a retreat last weekend. It was a nice one but nevertheless, it ended too fast. We were there for one night only and most of the time it was filled with session with Fr. Rudy Wong. Discovered many many new things and also managed to grab new and useful knowledge from him. Probably his talk will be my 1st step in changing the way I live. He also did two sessions of 'active imagination' with us. The sessions were remarkable. It help me to relax whats more with the soft music playing on the background.

Stayed at the Sister of the Infant Jesus, just directly opposite the Convent school. It was a beautiful place and the surrounding is very well kept. There were many types of beautiful and colouful flowers planted by Robert who is staying at the place with his family. It was so peacefull and refreshing to be around such beautiful nature. We walked around the compound whenever we had some free time while enjoying the wonderful beauty of our nature.

It was just a 5 minutes walk from the place to Tanah Rata town and thus we managed to steal some time to walk in town after dinner on Saturday and early Sunday morning before breakfast. The cool breeze really got my mind off all worries. Looking forward for more gateway in Cameron.

Went for a movie with Su just now to get my mind off work Had a great laugh watching THE PROPOSAL.

It was hilarious and yet romantic. I could not believe a lady would go down on her knees to get the man to marry her. I know it's just a deal they made but it's just funny. LOL!! Margaret (Sandra Bullock) was sooo touched with the family treats she got and that made me realize something - Who say that a touch woman / a woman who don't need to be dependant cannnot have a soft heart or have teary eyes when they encounter something touching? It's a good show. Worth watching. Those of you who have not watched it, go go go!!! What are you waiting for?

Will take this opportunity to blog about 2 more movies that I have watched but was too lazy to post a blog then.

About 2 weeks back, went for LAND OF THE LOST. It deserve a 8/10. It is another hilarious show. The whole cinema was laughing so loud and the seats were shaking probably due to the vibration from all the laughter.

Last Fri, went for a Malay film, SETEM with my cousins. Another funny movie I should say but it deserve another praise from me. Our Malaysian film industry is getting better.

It's about two groups of people, Geng Anak Yatim who works together with Geng Piranha and Geng Tosai who are trying to get hold of a very expensive stamp and thus causing so much havoc and got the involvement of innocent parties, Geng Teraniaya and Geng Bakso into the scheme. And after all the hard work, they found out that it was a fake one. LOL!! Imagine the look on their faces.

A maple seed cannot just hang onto a tree and produce another maple tree. A tomato seed cannot stay inside the tomato and expect to bring forth another red juicy fruit. Seeds need to be sown.
The saying above really caught my attention while I was reading it this morning. It's so my life now. I want something, something better but I am not doing anything to achieve it. I don't know what I am actually waiting for. Probably waiting for 'durian runtuh'.
I need to start sowing seeds!!! Let's see when the day will come for me to start it.
I HAVE A MISSION!!

Was just having a thought bout my job and getting frustrated once again. I am still stuck with doing the inventory system. Month after month. When is this coming to an end. I really have a very strong feeling to look for a new job and I even have the intention to work in Penang. I don't know why but the thoughts are just coming into my mind.

I want a change but I am just too scared or worry to take any move. I know I gotta take risk in order to excel in life but I still don't have the courage and determination to do so. I have always been kind of an introvert and it make matters worse. I see people getting interesting jobs, going elsewhere to start a living and I always tell myself I want to do it to but at the end I am still who I am and where I am. ( *SIGH* )

A date with Harry

Well, should say the date did not went as well as expected. Now, now, what are you thinking. Hahahha.. Went for Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince just now.

It was ok I should say but not as good as the previous ones. Less action and compare to the book, there is such a vast difference. More humour this time around. Well, luckily it's not as bad as those reviews that my friend posted. Not really a recommendation but no harm watching if you are a Harry Potter fan.

After movie, went to Sidewalk Ice Cream Lounge, a place where I used to go for ice cream when I was still young but stop going for some time already. We were lucky to get empty seats coz it's alwiz full. Just as we got out food, the place begin to fill up with customers. Food is nice and ice cream is great!! It's just yummy.

Another day out with the girls....

Went straight for Transformers after church as we bought the 1030am show. It was packed. I have never seen Jusco this packed at 10am!! I guess everyone is having transformers fever.

After movie, we walked around Jusco a lil and went to have Japanese food at Kampai. The food was good and we were really stuffed. We got kinda like a VIP treatment coz the owner there is the Twins father's patient. We had a room to ourselves and sake and ice cream were on the house. Still kinda full while writing this. Had our money worth. Hehehe....
