Why do people tell unintentional lies??

If you don't understand by the above said question, let me explain in a very simple way. It's lies people tell in order not to dissapoint, angered, saddened, etc....some other people be it our grandparents, parents, siblings, friends, children, employer, employees, etc........

The most common one is between children and their parents. Why do children do this? I personally don't think or feel that they do it on purpose. Maybe there are a handful who does it intentionally but i also believe there are children who are "force" to tell their parents this unintentional lies. This is because whenever they tell the truth, their parents will scold them or fully disagree with them. Thus in time, they are more confortable telling lies to their parents so their parents will not get dissaponted in any way. Come to think of it, i feels that parents should sometimes allow their children to explain themselves rather than shouting or showing faces at them at everything they do. What do you all think? Anyone who have a better explanation for this?

Sometimes i really think what is right for us to do. Of course it is right to tell the truth but then when we tell the truth, we will be wronged and if we tell lies, people tend to believe what we said. So in conclusion, everyone will eventually tell lies. Am i not right??

What NONSENSE!!!

Not letting a lil' girl appear on stage coz she's not pretty enough?? Oh my God!! What are those people thinking. She's is just a lil' girl for goodness sake!! An innocent child. What will she grow up to be thinking that people once despise her coz of her looks. Come on.... She looks cute ok.

That was what happen to the lil' girl who sang during the opening of the olympic last Friday. The girl you saw was not actually the girl who sang. The lil' girl who sang was hidden somewhere and the girl who appeared was actually not singing but was only mimicing.

Haih........even a lil', innocent child is being labelled nowadays.

Olympics 2008

Everyone seems to be in the OLYMPIC mood now. But as for me, it's still like any normal days. Maybe bcoz of work load that i don't even have the mood to actually feel excited bout it. I use to get excited and will follow up on all the updates of any major sports event but currently, i am not as "crazy" as i used to be. Probably will only follow up on badminton, that also if i have the time to sit in front of the idiot box.

Anyhow, saw the opening ceromony yesterday but did not watch till the end coz was too tired and sleepy. Was surprise to see that Malaysia's contigent was so small. But anyhow, small does not mean they can't win back some gold for MALAYSIA!! Go MALAYSIA.

What a nice night.....

Hmmmm......Had a nice time with Miss Cheong, Su and Farrah yesterday. We had dinner at the newly opened Moven Peak Restaurant at Ipoh Parade. We had steamboat but this is the individual kind where each of us will have our own pot of soup and we can choose what we wana eat on the conveyor belt circulating the whole restaurant. (Similar to those at Sushi King). We even went to th eextend of taking the food and found it not appealing and thus put it back onto the conveyor belt. Hehehhe.... We will never do that at Sushi though.

While eating, we suddenly thought of another vacation in Penang this time with Miss Cheong. We were so excited that we plan to go on Merdeka. Hahha.... Well, we'll see how thing goes before we can confirm whether or not we are going for that trip.

After dinner, we went to the Thai Fair in Ipoh Parade as well. Was planning to get a pair of slipper but ended up buying a pair of slipper, two bags and food - Coconut and durian candy, mango with glutinuous rice and a cup of 'thai special' drink which i forgot the name.

Hmmmmm......... back to work now!! Hehehe...

Looking back

While on the way back from KL this afternoon, things just came into my mind and there are 2 events which i thought was kinda nice and memorable. Maybe after reading what i am about to write, you will think it's just plain simple but to me, it's by far still kinda memorable to me.

Ok, 1st one - Farewell party for my ex-boss. Mr. Cheong SK. We were discussing about having one farewell for him and thus we asked when is it suitable for him. Unfortunately, he was so reluctant to have us organize it. But to no avail, we went on with the plan but no one dares to confront him to ask him to attend the party. So, out of desperation, we wrote him a little note, pass it to him the day before the party just before we were all leaving the office. Just as we were getting ready to go home, he came to our place and so we thought he was going to talk about the party, but NO, not a single work about it. So fine. I went home leaving my colleagues with him. The next day, still not a single word about the party. We went on doing our work and when it came to lunch time, we invited him again. We were all waiting anxiously whether or not he will join us and YES, my boss, ex-boss now, finally came. Yah it sound a little dramatic but yes, it really happened. He was probably too sad to leave that is why he did not want to attend it but we were just doing something nice for him for all the teaching and guidance he had given us.

A little token of appreciation - Presented by Fauzi to Mr. Cheong SK.

It's makan time!!

Then there is another farewell party for Mr. CSK which took some time for us to ask him to attend too..... FInally he agredd and i quickly offered to fetch him before he changed his mind again. We went for steamboat in moven peak. Although not many attended this 2nd one, but alas it was fun and great.

The 2nd one - Fauzi's surprise bday celebration. There was no plan for this at all. As i was going out for lunch that day, i told the others that i was going to get Fauzi a piece of cake as we will normally celebrate bdays of QA staffs every end of each month. And thus came the "big" plan to give him a surprise. I was asked to get a whole cake and we will share it among ourselves. So, there i was, buying the cake and hiding it once i am back in the office. Sharp 5pm, we brought the cake out, light the candle and walk towards him ( He was trying to complete his job in our meeting cum training room ) while singing him the bday song. I duno whether or not he was surprise as we were told the plan has been leaked out but not one of us told him anything?? Still a mystery to us as how it leaked out. Probably it's just a rumour but i am glad we did it for him.

Then there was another surprise for him by his subordinate who invited us as well. Unfortunately, they have to break the surprise as well as Fauzi was suppose to take leave on the day they planned and so they have to tell him about it and asked him to attend the party. How sweet of them for organizing it for him.

His bday party does not end there as he will be having another one from QA as we have not celebrated the bdays of those born in July yet. How lucky, 3 bday parties in one year. Hehehehe......

p/s: Can't upload the photos... Will try again some other time.

How time flies

Going to KL again tomorrow. It's my last out of the 8 seminars I have to attend. I have been going to KL once a month for the pass 7 months and I just can't believe how fast time flies as I can still clearly remember the 1st seminar i attended in January. These 8 seminars by Dr. Ho is really very knowledgable for us who are working in the rubber industry.

I can count myself very lucky as I got to experince the real rubber processing last Saturday at KLK Berhad in Tanjong Malim. I am sure many of you must have realize the big rubber factory by the highway if you are passing by Tanjong Malim. That is the factory i visited. After 7 months of listening to Dr. Ho, I can now understand more on how field latex are process into raw latex before it is sent to rubber industries to be produced into final products - gloves, balloons, condoms, etc.....

Although i need to wake up at 5am tomorrow, i am kinda looking forward to attend the last seminar as he will be talking on dipping process in glove industries.

I'm back

I know i have not been blogging for 4 whole months. Now i am back but duno how long this will last. Was so caught up with so many things. So many to blog about the past 4 months but just don't have the mood to do it. So much had happen - sad, angry, dissapointed, shocked,etc...... U just name it, i must have felt it.

1st there is this shocking news from a friend and i am just hoping to forget about it already. I thought i have but......NVM. FORGET ABOUT IT!!

Than there is an even more shocking one - MY BOSS (ex-boss now) resigned. I have gotten so use to his way of working although he is very very strict when work is concern and then something like this must happen. I can't deny that there are times that I wish I was not working under him but nooo..............I DO LIKE WORKING UNDER HIM!! God is so kind to me that he actually granted me my "wish". And what is worst is that i cant even be there on his last day of work as i need to attend a seminar in KL. I actually cried the day before when sending him home after our farewell makan with him.Not only me, the whole department felt so weird the day when he was not there anymore. We actually miss all the scouldings we used to get. It has been almost 2 months since he left but we still miss working with him.

Then there is our new boss - LADY BOSS who we have to get use to the way she works. Honestly, till today, i am still not getting use to the way she want things done. Still trying hard!!
Need to be strong in coping with work now!!

OK forget about work now!! When for The Mummy today with my colleagues and it was actually quite good but a little fake. Nevertheless, i still enjoyed it.

Well, seems that i just can't get work out of my head. I better just stop here now before i go on rambling about work again.
