Another day out with the girls....

Went straight for Transformers after church as we bought the 1030am show. It was packed. I have never seen Jusco this packed at 10am!! I guess everyone is having transformers fever.



After movie, we walked around Jusco a lil and went to have Japanese food at Kampai. The food was good and we were really stuffed. We got kinda like a VIP treatment coz the owner there is the Twins father's patient. We had a room to ourselves and sake and ice cream were on the house. Still kinda full while writing this. Had our money worth. Hehehe....

One touching story, one unexpected surprise and one shocking news

I got all the 3 in less than 24 hours!!! Whew..Too much to digest i should say.

One touching story.....
During homily 2 days back, Fr. Patrick was talking about FAMILY!! And there he was going on and on with family values and all. Then he told us of his own family, not only his blood family but his church family back in Dalat where he has been serving for the pass 20 years. It was soooo touching that it brings tears in quite a number of parishioners. Then he went on to tell us about his relationship with his Dad. I guess that was the longest homily ever but it was really nice and i guess many have manage to grasp some knowledge on family life.

One unexpected surprise....
And as Fr. Patrick was finishing his sermon, he gave us another surprise. He told us that we will have someone back to our family - as in our church family in a few days time. I thought I got the right person but when he announced that person's name, I was surprise. It was Fr. Paul Kee who left us 9 years ago to serve in Spore. And now, after 9 yrs, he will be back, serving OMPH Ipoh. It was really nice about how Fr. Patrick asked us to welcome him by tying yellow ribbons all around the church like how it was in the lyrics of 'Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree'. :)

One shocking news...
SHOCKING!!! MJ, the King Of Pop has passed on!!! What a waste. He's still so young and planning a comeback concert and all but all that will be just a memory now. Well, I can't deny that I was not really a big fan of MJ but I feel for him and all his fans out there. Losing another singing legend at such a young age. Well, life is life so appreciate each and every moment now and live happily everyday for you don't know what will happen tomorrow!! Condolences to MJ's family.

What a family drama I had. Fuiihhhh.....Luckily it's finally over. I HATE family 'dramas'.

Bout 2 months back, when my mum and aunt went to visit their aunt, they were talking bout having a party for that aunt's son 50th bday. They were told that invitation cards will be sent out later. Sooo fast forward. My eldest aunt got the card through post but my mum and my younger aunt never got theirs. Many of their friends and colleagues also got the cards. So mum made up her mind not to go coz 'we are not invited'. I told her we should attend coz they have already told us bout it. Probably the card got lost in post or something. After much thought,mum decided to go. She told me we are all going as a family coz big aunty got the invite. Then all of a sudden, big aunt decided to go for a holiday which clashes with the dinner. So mum said that since big aunt is not going, so are we. She called up my younger aunt n told her that we are all not going. So I made plans with Fa since it's her bday today and i thought I will take her out for dinner.

Then the drama begins. Mum got a call from Uncle Martin, the bday 'boy' this morning telling mum that he got a sms saying that mum and my younger aunt did not get the invitation cards. Mum was furious with whoever who sent the sms and asked uncle Martin for the number. Unfortunately, when mum called the number, no one answered. Uncle Martin was apologizing to mum and told her that she will have to attend the function tonite. He even told mum that he will go to her office to give her the card but mum said it's ok. Mum was still half hearted and told Uncle Martin that she will consider it. Then another phone call came from Uncle Martin's younger sis. She told mum that Uncle Martin is very very upset and asked mum to please come for the function. Finally mum gave in and said ok. Now come to my younger aunt. She said that she will not go coz no one called her n all. I was getting very very frutrated already at this point so I gave up persuading. Wana go then go, dun wana go then dun go!! Well, of course I was very sad deep down coz I hate family conflicts. Really hate it. Then mum called up uncle Martin's sis and told her to call my younger aunt and finally all agree to go!!! Hmmm............FINALLY!! Just came back from Uncle Martin's bday bash. It was superb and the food was delicious. THANK GOD THAT EVERYTHING FINALLY WENT ON WELL!!!

PEARL OF THE ORIENT, here I come!!! Wooooooooo Hoooooooooo

" Michelle, come now. Ur car got scratch by Gdex." This was a phone call conversation I got from the receptionist at work today. My heart nearly drop out coz Gdex ppl usually come in this big vans. I was panic and ran out while telling my colleagues " My car got scratch by the lorry". I was walking faster than I normally do and upon reaching, I don't see any lorry or van but a motor. So I thought it won't be that bad. Then he showed me the area my car got scratched. I can't say it's major and I can't say it's minor also. There is this one big and long black stain plus a few scratch line and some grenish blue scratch mark. one of my light got scratch as well.

There is this saying where we are always asked to be careful while driving but now my car is parked there only and "accident" occured. I guess the man must either be dreaming or very very sleepy. And I don't understand how he can actually scratch that part of my car when there is another car next to mine.

Well, my car is gona lose it's beauty and shine with scratch mark around. Hopefully those marks can be make less obvious.
